| Friday in D.C. | ||||||||||||||||
| The first thing we did in D.C. was to park in Union Station and walk over to the back of the capitol building. Next we walked down to the Native American Smithsonian, then the Air & Space Museum. We rode the Metro then to China town where Joan had her first sushi (a Dragon Roll). Later we drove around to see the White House, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and the World War II memorial. We were only able to see those from the car though because most places were blocked off for the Million More March on Washington that was to happen on Saturday. | ||||||||||||||||
| The Washington Monument is off in the distance behind us... | Yes. It's the Capitol Building. | |||||||||||||||
